MiniSQLadmin is a minuscule Admin & Query tool for MySQL.

You can execute any query, and the result is shown, as well as saved to a file.

As this program is still activelly updated/developed, please check for the update.

Installation

• For using it on PowWeb servers:

If you have or install extratools automatic installer, just click on Install/Update minisqladmin.cgi.

(This is the recommended method for novice users.)

• To install manually;

Simply, upload the file to a well protected directory as minisqladmin.cgi and set permission of 700 (or 755 in some cases).

Setup

When you first run this script, baskup/restore utility MiniSqlDump will be installed in the same directory, if it's not there yet.

When it's done, click on "Admin" link found under the input form and enter the database name, server name, user name, and password.

I recommend you to use https for this operation.

You can register multiple databases on different servers, and once registered, you don't need to input these details, anymore.

You can easily switch among registered database, and perform Query/Backup/Retore operations.
